UNIKOP Career Fair x CNY Celebration 2026 Brings Career Opportunities and Festive Cheer

UNIKOP College successfully organized the UNIKOP Career Fair x Chinese New Year (CNY) Celebration 2026 at the UNIKOP Campus in Cyberjaya from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, bringing together students, alumni, industry partners, and the public for a day filled with career opportunities, networking, and festive cultural activities.
The event attracted approximately 100 participants, including alumni, final-year students, and members of the public who were eager to explore employment and internship opportunities. A total of 6 employers participated in the career fair, setting up exhibition booths and offering a range of job vacancies and internship placements across various industries.
In addition to the career exhibition, the event also featured 18 pop-up stalls, comprising both external vendors as well as internal vendors from among UNIKOP students and staff, creating a lively and engaging environment throughout the campus.
The programme was organized in collaboration with PERKESO, further strengthening the connection between graduates and industry. Adding an international dimension to the event, a delegation from Uzbekistan was also present to observe how PERKESO supports and organizes career engagement initiatives in collaboration with higher education institutions.
Vibrant Opening Ceremony
The event commenced with a lively opening ceremony that reflected the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year celebration. The arrival of the VIPs was welcomed with an energetic Lion Dance performance, followed by a Chinese calligraphy session that showcased traditional cultural art.
The ceremony continued with an opening speech by the CEO of UNIKOP College, emphasizing the importance of career readiness, industry collaboration, and providing platforms that connect students with potential employers. The programme also featured a launching gimmick, a cultural dance performance, and concluded with a VIP tour of the career exhibition booths, where guests engaged with participating employers and vendors.

Throughout the day, participants benefited from a variety of career-focused and engaging activities designed to support their professional development. Among the key highlights were:
