UNIKOP Eco-Innovation & Green Rise Week Sparks Campus-Wide Sustainability Action

UNIKOP College proudly celebrated Eco-Innovation & Green Rise Week, a meaningful initiative designed to cultivate environmental responsibility, creativity, and community spirit among students and staff.

This event focused on two impactful activities:

Sculpture Artwork Creation Competition

Students from each academic school showcased their creativity in a Sculpture Artwork Creation Competition, using only recycled and upcycled materials. From plastic bottles to scrap metal and discarded electronics, participants transformed waste into powerful, thought-provoking art pieces that promoted sustainability and innovation.

The competition not only encouraged environmental awareness, but also highlighted the role of art and design in addressing global ecological challenges.

Campus Gardening & Planting Activity

Staff and students came together in a hands-on Gardening and Planting Activity around the campus, planting greenery in key areas to promote a more vibrant, eco-friendly environment. The activity encouraged teamwork and environmental stewardship while contributing to a healthier and more sustainable campus.

Green Rise Week is a reminder that every small action - whether planting a tree or reusing a bottle - can lead to meaningful change. At UNIKOP, we believe in empowering students and staff to be part of that change,” said Mr. Amin, Head of Student Affairs Department.
